Sounds to me like you have spent a lot of time trying to tear some one else’s ministry down. I feel sorry for the judgement you feel compelled to pass out.

If anything I’ve said is untrue, please point it out. A “ministry” based on lies, like Meyer’s, serves no one but the Devil.

    Hello Ken,
I appreciate your hard work for the glory of God and the welfare of God’s people in informing them of the truth. I hope you don’t mind (but if you do mind/have a copyright or something please let me know; your work is not going on there without citation, though), but I am quoting your work in a letter to the YouVersion Bible app to ask for increased discernment in picking teachers to explain the Verse of the Day, for there have been many a false prophet/prosperity gospel teacher teaching, and Joyce Meyer was one of them.

Thanks for sharing and researching, and I hope this book reaches many others. I will definitely share it.
    Your sister in Christ,
    Julianna

Ken, I can tell that this was more than just a personal judgment piece. You have gone through her material to deflect misguided instructions that I never would have found. I prayed to the Holy Spirit to show me my faults that is hindering a closer relationship with Him because I am struggling for intimacy. I have been making sacrifices thinking that I need to do something different to have it. Right after asking, I then got a thought about Joyce Meyer. I’ve noticed a trend in social media that her face is attached to “ false”. I then decided to google “is Joyce Meyer false?”. I came across your article and could not believe the difference between sacrificing to make Him happy/ sacrificing to gain something from Him and, sacrificing from faith to show myself approved. Faith is something I try hard to walk in to show myself approved but I miss seeing the motive of my heart when I do it because I am still using faith to gain something from Him rather than just Him. The line between lifestyle-status and relationship is blurry unless it is evident that there is no intimacy in the relationship. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that this is calibrating my spirit that sowed a seed of joy within to want to press in for more answers to see how pride is keeping me from my freedom in my circumstances. I use to question the validity of prosperity preaching, thinking that it might be ok. I use to believe in the power of positive affirmation thinking that it was ok. You killed two crows in my heart with one stone. This article is more than a home run, it is a grand slam at the bottom of the 9th. God Bless you for your personal time with the Lord that brought out my repentance! I needed to read this.

      Thank you for your comment.
“We have been set apart as holy”, it says in Hebrews, not because of anything we could possibly do but “because Jesus Christ did what God wanted him to do by sacrificing his body once and for all.” Hebrews 10:10
